Sam is a critical part of the day to day operations of Summit Medical Spa. As COO she works hand in hand with each department.
Providing growth and educational opportunities for staff members is a top priority that continues to propel Summit as an organization. After a recent interview with Sam, Mandi wrote, “I have come to know what they ( Summit ) stand for and the unprecedented atmosphere and business model that they created for their massage therapists and other professionals. They are breaking away from the standard in our industry and trying to create a place for therapists to have a career. Where they can continue to learn and stay sharp while also providing the benefits they need for their families.”
Training & Education
Sam Butler began her massage career in 2001 at the Sensory Development Institute, located in St. George Utah. This school was a part of the well known Green Valley Resort and Spa. Her initial focus was to practice Sports Massage for athletic teams. It didn’t take long before her heart was stolen by the Spa setting of massage therapy and the rest is history.
She had an amazing anatomy instructor who fueled her passion for Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, Trigger point Release and Sports Massage. She has found the perfect blend of each modality and incorporated them into her massage. Sam is driven to make sure each of her massage client receives the individual care, body work or therapy they need and deserve. She is fluent in Swedish, Deep tissue, Trigger Point Release, Hot Stone, Shiatsu, Mud Wraps, Body Scrubs and Reflexology.
She has a deep love for the spa environment and believes everyone should experience the amazing benefits of taking time for themselves to Relax, Repair, and Restore the body, mind, and soul.
Focus Shift
As Summit has grown Sam’s priorities have shifted a bit. She no longer works on clients but instead is focused on building quality therapists & technicians. Building a team of industry leaders is what sets Summit apart. We hope you feel that as you experience treatments here at Summit.
