Laser Skin & Scar Resurfacing

WHAT IS LASER SKIN RESURFACING?

Utilizing laser technology, skin and scar resurfacing at Summit Spa & Float is a nonsurgical aesthetic treatment that harnesses delicate beams of light to exfoliate damaged surface skin layers. This procedure is provided to address facial lines and wrinkles and for minimizing skin blemishes, including acne scars, pigmentation, and more. Utilizing the Harmony XL PRO, laser-assisted skin resurfacing is known to be an excellent procedure for people who want clearer, softer, youthful-looking skin.

What to expect

How much does laser skin resurfacing cost?

Your laser resurfacing estimation depends on the type of treatment you choose. During your consultation, we learn about your concerns and wants before reviewing the different types of resurfacing treatments. Then, we will help you decide on your resurfacing method and talk to you about costs. Summit Spa & Float regularly runs treatment specials and packages so be sure to ask in your consultation.

How can I help my skin recover after a resurfacing treatment?

The most important rule is not to pick or peel flaking skin, which can cause lasting damage, including scars. You need to skip all hair removal methods on the treated skin, which means no shaving, waxing, or depilatory creams. We will suggest a cream to help soothe your skin.

How often should I get laser resurfacing treatments?

Based on the resurfacing method you choose for your treatment, you might need to wait several weeks or even a few months between appointments. Deep laser treatments will give you longer-lasting results but will need a longer recovery period. Let us know how frequently you are willing to return for appointments so we can take this into account when choosing a type of resurfacing during your initial consultation.
